ACTIVITIES

SURF

Siargao has great surfing conditions, particularly during the southwest " habagat" monsoon from August to November, when the prevailing wind is offshore.It's world-class surf waves that barrels up to nine feet high. It's most popular break, known as “Cloud 9."

KITESURF

The shallow waters between the reef and the beach makes General Luna a great place to kite, the winds from the pacific ocean is quite strong during the months of Nov- January.

SUP

Discover the hidden mangroves - habitat of rare and endangered species of flora and fauna both in marine, wetland and terrestrial areas found in the municipality of Del Carmen.

ISLAND HOPPING

After a good surf session, there are other things you can do:Discover the 3 nearby islands- Dako, Naked and Guyam Island. Each island is unique. All islands are a great place to swim, rent a kubo to relax and have the local cook up some of the fresh fish.

KAYAKING

Kayaking is a great way to discover "off the beaten path" sites around Siargao for the most adventurous. Get lost, find the natural unspoiled treasures, find yourself alone in a small paradisíac island, have the best snorkle around, or just chill and listen to the silence.

MOUNTAIN BIKE

For mountain bike lovers, we offer different routes for all kind of levels. The adventure is served ! Go across rice-fields, load the bycicle to a boat to cross the mangrove, ride through small villages and see the smile of the people waving at you, enjoy the different landscapes...

ROCKPOOLS

A good hour's drive from General Luna to Pilar. A fantastic view of the beach, the rock formations and the tidal or rock pools that appear only during low tide- can be as deep as 18 feet. Bring snorkels and goggles to see the colorful schools of fish and corals.

CASULIAN HIKE

A whole day hiking trip in the mountain of Corregidor where one can see breathtaking views of nearby islands and turquoise waters.

SOHOTON CAVES

Swim with the non-sting Jellyfish !
Sohoton Cove, Socorro, Bucas Grande Island -2 hours away from Siargao Island. Striking limestone formations rise out of the crystal clear waters.

SUGBA LAGOON

Caob is located at the municipality of Del Carmen, about 10k past the airport. A breathtaking lagoon accessed through the vast maze of mangroves on the western side.

DIVING

Siargao is a famous dive destination in the eastern part of The Philippines, known for its breathtaking visibility, amazing underwater rock formations and colorful corals. However, there is still amazing underwater life and beautiful things yet to be discovered.

FREEDIVING

PALAKA SIARGAO Dive Center is the first international scuba diving on Siargao Island. In 2014, in partnership with Freediving Planet, Palaka Siargao Dive is now the first Official Freediving School offering the best quality in teaching AIDA freediving, from Beginner to Instructor level.

YOGA

If you love to surf (or even if you're just learning), yoga can help!The yoga/surf combination is great way to prepare for surfing. The camp has an intimate garden set-up so you feel close to nature.

GOLF

A fun and challenging par 3 golf course surrounded by rice fields and rolling hills, maya is a small golf course with 5 Bermuda grass greens that offers 9 different hole options between 60 to 150 yards.

FISHING

The sailfish and blue marlin season from March to early May. Other fishes that you can catch: sailfish, mahi-mahi, and tuna . You could fish for coral trout, and other reef fish anytime too!
